Life Lessons

It was a great weekend. We traveled to Champaign to celebrate Father's Day with my husband's family. Dad's were honored with a lazy morning, a yummy breakfast, and a few fun presents. My sister-in-law and I then took the kids to the pool and let our hubby's get started on dinner. They enjoy cooking and planned a barbecued-rib dinner for their 79-year old father. Home-made cole slaw and potato salad were also on the menu. YUM!!! It was a fantastic day.

Also, this weekend, I learned a few life lessons..

# 1) I can no longer handle my liquor. If I drink any more than two glasses of wine, I'm out. I immediately fall asleep.

#2) Don't "rig-up" your bathing-suit. My top was a little big so, in an effort to tighten the bathing suit, I tied the straps behind my neck and then snapped the clips together. Not a good idea. As I was bending over, putting on sunscreen, the top came undone and as I stood up the top came down. I ended up flashing those "lucky" patrons of a Champaign Park District pool on Sunday.

Note to self: GET A NEW BATHING SUIT!!!!

Hi, Nancy! I am right there with you on the drinking. I either fall asleep or get a headache. Oh, and the top to my bathing suit is big on me too. My solution is to wear a sports bra underneath. Not the best idea, but I abhor bathing suit shopping.
I miss your classes. I have a foot issue, so I've been cooling my heals until I see a foot doctor. I do plan on coming to attak next Tuesday (low options for me!). I hope this class doesn't get cancelled. I go to pump on Sat's, so if you would switch to teach Wed pump that would work best with my schedule! Ha! j/k You are a great instructor and make the classes fun! Take care, Temple
