Are you planning any summer vacations? Imagine, for a moment, that you're sitting in your lounge chair at one of the best beaches in America. Docter Beach (Must be a tough job) has ranked the nation's best beaches and is out with his 2007 list. Believe it or not, this year's best beach isn't in Florida or Hawaii. It's North Carolina's Ocracoke Island, part of the Cape Hatteras National Seashore. Stephen Leatherman, AKA Doctor Beach, is a profesor at Florida International University. He sys there are 14 miles of unspoiled beach at that site. But it might be tough to get there. The only access to the island is by boat or private plane. Other beaches on this year's list are in Clearwater, Florida, Southampton, New York, and Kauai, Hawaii.
